The Ivor Walters Primary School (IWPS) made a thumping statement at the ET Willet Park on Tuesday 10th July, when they won comprehensively over the Charlestown Primary school (CPS), in semifinal one, of the 2018 edition of the Runako Morton/TDC sponsored Primary Schools’ Cricket tournament.
CPS won the toss and confidently sent the opposition into bat.
The move soon reaped dividends and the IWPS team was struggling at one point, with Teshawn Newton, threatening to run through the innings. At one point, he was actually on a hat trick, but that was averted.

When the CPS team took their turn at crease, Lythe Browne sent early shock waves into their camp, when he picked up 2 wickets in his first over and just missed out on a hat trick of his own.
The regular procession to and from the pavilion, continued throughout their innings, during hich they were bowled out for a meagre 33.
