The school is celebrating the milestone achievement under the theme: ‘Celebrating forty years of opening minds, changing lives and shaping the future.’
The school was opened on the 9th October 1978 and so earlier today, the staff members, students and some parents, along with friends of the school, worshipped at the Ebenezer Church of God, in a thanksgiving service. The predominant colour for the day was RED.
Other activities that will be held as part of the celebrations will be KIDS’ATHLETICS, slated for the 19th of October; Teachers’ retreat on 2nd November; speech competition on 9th November and climaxing with an awards ceremony in December.
Headmistress Miss Barbara Hendrickson, noted that 40 years is no mean feat and thanked God and the entire community for helping the school along on its wonderful educational journey.
She used the opportunity to thank the general public and asked that they continue to support the school and join in celebrating the landmark occasion
