Joselo Pie & Jonathan Rawlins Sentenced for Robbery

Joselo Nunez Pie, of Infirmary Road, St. Johnston’s Village, and Jonathan Rawlins, of Herbert Street, Newtown, both in St. Kitts, have been sentenced to His Majesty’s Prison for the crime of robbery. The offence took place on November 11, 2023, at Fort Tyson Rise, Frigate Bay, St. Kitts. After both men pleaded guilty to the charge on March 3, 2025, they were sentenced on April 15, 2025, at the High Court by His Lordship Justice Iain Morley, KC.

Mr Pie received a sentence of six years in prison, with the time spent on remand counted as time served. He will be eligible for remission after serving two-thirds of his sentence with good behaviour. Mr Rawlins was sentenced to six years and six months. At the time of the robbery, he was serving a suspended sentence of eighteen months, which was revoked due to the commission of the new crime. As a result, the eighteen months were added to his new sentence, increasing it to a total of eight years in prison. Time spent on remand will also count as time served for him, and he will be eligible for remission after serving two-thirds of his sentence with good behaviour.
