The Joycelyn Liburd Primary School (JLPS), hosted its second in a series of cross country events, for the athletic season 2018, on Wednesday 24th January.
This time around, it was the grades 1 and 2 boys and girls, who took the spotlight.
Both races commenced close to the Gingerland Health Center and the athletes raced along the main road, making a turn at Brino’s shop and then headed back to the school yard, to the cheers of their supportive school mates and family members.
Joshua Liburd dominated the boys’ event and T’Nyah Bolan took first place in the girls’ event.
