Congratulations to Kaliyah Jones of Nevis, who continues to shine while representing Monroe University in New York City.
Jones opened her indoor track and field season impressively, winning her heat and placing third overall out of 54 competitors in the 400 metres.
Her time of 56.84 seconds not only marks an indoor personal best, but also qualifies her for the NJCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships, scheduled to be held in March at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas.
With this performance, Kaliyah is currently ranked fifth in the NJCAA Division I for the 400m event, further cementing her status as one of the top collegiate athletes in her discipline.
