KIAN HAPPY FOR THE EXPERIENCE

Kian Pemberton, Nevisian and West Indies under 19 fast bowler, is back in Nevis, after the unsuccessful bid by the youthful Windies team, to defend their under 19 world cup trophy, in New Zealand.

The young speedster, in a recent interview with NTV Sports page, indicated that he was happy for the experience of participating in the prestigious tournament and noted that although he was feeling a little depressed, after he was not included in the eleven, for the team’s first two matches, when he was eventually called upon, he gave it his all and noted that his coaches and team mates were pleased with his efforts, in keeping things tight and also picking up a couple of wickets in the process.

In terms of the immediate future, Kian has his goals set on performing well on the local scene and making it into the senior Nevis team.

However, his ultimate goal is to make it into the senior Windies team, in the not too distant future.
