Labour Party Conference honours 8 mothers

Basseterre, St. Kitts, May 21, 2018 – Eight mothers representing the number of constituencies on St. Kitts were honoured Sunday at the Public Session of the 86th Annual Conference of the opposition St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP).

The mothers were honoured for their contribution to the Party and their respective communities over the years.

They were Constituency 1, Ms. Sheila Veira; Constituency 2, Ms. Janice Amory; Constituency 3, Mrs. Zelda Tucker; Constituency 4, Ms. Margaret Hendrickson; Constituency 5, Ms. Irma “Tatas” Warner; Constituency 6, Ms. Doris Bradshaw; Constituency 7, Ms. Floretta Amory and Constituency 9, Mrs. Veronica Buffong.

Each was presented with a plaque and a gift by persons including parliamentary representatives.

Ms. Janice Hendrickson receives plaque and gift from Dr. Earl Asim Martin on behalf of Margaret Hendrickson;
Hon. Konris Maynard presents gift and plaque to Mrs. Zelda Tucker;
Ms. Janice Amory receives gift and plaque from Hon. Marcella Liburd;
Ms. Sheila Veira accepts plaque and gift from Dr. Geoffrey Hanley;
