St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda (13 July 2026) — The Leeward Islands Under-19s Men endured a difficult outing on Monday as they suffered a 258-run defeat to Barbados Under-19s Men in the West Indies Rising Stars Under-19 Championship at the Liberta Sports Club.

After winning the toss and electing to bat, Barbados posted an imposing 439 for 8 from their allotted 50 overs. Facing a daunting target of 440, the Leeward Islands were dismissed for 181 in 23.5 overs, handing Barbados a comprehensive 258-run victory.

Elsewhere in the tournament, Jamaica Under-19s Men cruised to a commanding 10-wicket victory over Guyana Under-19s Men at the Bethesda Sports Ground. Guyana were bowled out for 225 in 44.4 overs before Jamaica comfortably reached 229 without loss in just 37 overs, sealing the win with 78 balls to spare.

At the Coolidge Cricket Ground, Trinidad and Tobago Under-19s Men claimed a three-wicket victory over Windward Islands Under-19s Men. Windward Islands posted 183 for 9 from their 50 overs, but Trinidad and Tobago successfully chased down the target, reaching 184 for 7 in 38.5 overs with 67 balls remaining.
