The first ever Leeward Islands female hard ball cricket team has been selected.
After the inaugural tournament which featured three teams viz Antigua, St.Kitts and Nevis, the selectors have named a squad which will represent the Leewards in the upcoming West Indies female cricket championship.
The selection was completed after the final scheduled match between Nevis and Antigua was rained out on Friday 1st July
The full squad reads:
Antigua: Shawnisha Hector; Amanda Edwards; Jenison Richards; Terez Parker; Eldora Sylvester; Grace Persaud and Sherma Jackson
Nevis: Senaldo Willet; Melissa Clarke; Rozel Liburd; Kimberly Dookhan; and Kerisha Powell
St.Kitts: Jasmine Clarke and Elisha Claxton
