Lewis Elliot Gets To 98

Gingerland-Nevis-There was no real pomp and ceremony but on Tuesday 19th February, Mr. Lewis Elliot of Pond Hill celebrated his 98th birthday, in th quiet of his home.
During the course of the morning, several family members and friends visited him and listened to the still very alert gentleman, share anecdotes and stories.
Mr. Frank Clarke, representing the Ministry of Social Development, also presented him with a gift basket and the appreciative celebrant expressed his gratitude for the gesture.
He also thanked God for allowing him to live for such a long time and thanked his family members for their assistance throughout the years.
