LIME St. Kitts & Nevis Is Now Flow Launches Superfast Broadband

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts & Nevis (October 16, 2015) – Flow has entered the St. Kitts &
Nevis market, replacing LIME as the new retail brand for Cable & Wireless (C&W). The
complete transformation of the brand is the result of the company’s recent merger with
Columbus Communications.
As the company embarked on its phased launch across the Caribbean, the Federation of St.
Kitts & Nevis is now the 2nd LIME only and fourth market overall to be transformed to Flow.
The new Flow brand has been redesigned around the positive attributes that customers value
highly, such as “bang for your buck” innovation, customer focus and going the extra mile to
serve them.
“With this transformation, Flow will offer St. Kitts & Nevis a winning consumer proposition
made even more attractive with the introduction of Superfast Broadband. Customers will be
able to interact with the new products and services via a soon to be launched retail experience
centre, the first of its kind on the island. With interactive features, self-help facilities and newly
trained customer agents, the store is designed to transform the entire customer experience,
and is a major step in the Company’s bold vision of being #1 for customer service in the
region. This is a proud moment for our company in St. Kitts & Nevis,” said David Lake,
Country Manager.
According to Lake, “We now have the opportunity to give our customers even more through
new packages that our converged advanced technology allows. More than that, the merger
will ultimately bring new levels of affordability, innovation and customer service to the country.
In fact, to mark the occasion of the brand launch, Flow has a special outdoor promotional offer
– a bonus credit promotion for top ups of between EC$10 to EC$100. Customers will earn
bonus minutes for on-net calls, valid for seven days. We have also partnered with Huawei to
offer our customers the Y360 smartphone at the affordable launch-day price of just $99 plus
VAT and one gig data,” he added.
“Historically, C&W’s presence in the Caribbean has long been marked by a series of
successful investment programmes, technological advancement, employer of choice
designation, impactful nation-building initiatives including a long history of supporting culture,
education and sports within the Federation,” said the proud Country Manager.
Lake listed several of these investments on the island including – US $10M network upgrade
investment during 2014, the launch of 4G (HSPA+) mobile data services in 2012. The
Company has also invested in the community with close to twenty year veteran sponsor of the
St. Kitts & Nevis music festival and more than ten years as sponsor of Nevis Culturama. The
company also supports education initiatives via its Free Broadband connectivity programme
for all Primary schools in the Federation.
