Local developer shows confidence in the St. Kitts and Nevis economy

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, FEBRUARY 1ST 2013 (CUOPM) – A local developer is showing confidence in the local economy with the launching of the Golden Rock Commercial Park next week.

Developer Mr. Scott Caines said the multi-building development with international appeal and island ambience will be launched on February 7th during a ceremony at 3 p.m.

“Commandingly located at three busy crossroads including the Kim Collins Highway and less than a block from the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport and the world-renowned Scenic Railway, the development is unique, in that it is the only government-approved mixed-use development with commercial and residential offerings,” said the company’s website.

The eco-friendly development will offer multi-tenant facilities in multi-storied buildings ideal for a range of businesses – from executive corporate offices to landscape services to a full service bank. Over 250,000 sq ft of space will be committed to commercial rental.

It added that its prime location next to the airport and five minutes from the city centre will make it ideal to transact business in a one-stop shop facility with ease and speed.

“To compliment the development, a small number of upscale Condotels will be available. Sweeping views of the city centre from a rooftop restaurant and interior landscaped courtyards will give residents and patrons the best views available
anywhere,” the site said.

The Golden Rock Commercial Park will comprise an amphitheater, waterfalls, swimming pool and a full service spa and fitness centre will form the centre piece of the entertainment features of the development.

A walking park within the Royal Basseterre Valley National Park will be the perfect complement to this feature-rich development.
