The scheduled match in the ongoing local Netball league for Wednesday 5th June was postponed. This in a special tribute to the contributions to the sport of the late Cicely Grell Hull.
The late Netball icon who passed away on Sunday 2nd June was one of the founding members of the Nevis Netball Association and a long serving President and executive member of the August body.
Word coming out of the Nevis Netball Association is that the teams participating in the local league will be represented at the funeral service which has been scheduled for Friday 7th June at the Charlestown Methodist Church, starting at 2.30 pm.
The Netball teams are expected to wear their uniform tops and a dark bottom. The executive members of the Association will be more officially attired in jackets
The local league will continue on Saturday evening—8th June with two exciting matches.
In match one, Dynamics Elite will engage Pioneers and in match two, it will be the much anticipated rematch and championship determining matchup between Bath United and Stoney Grove Untouchables.
It promises to be a ring dinger!
