This Media House has been informed that on Saturday 19 October 2013 about 6:15 am police officers of the Basseterre Police Station, CID, Crime Scene Unit (CSU) responded to a report on Cayon Street in the vicinity of Glimbaro Guest House, of someone who was discovered to be dead on the side-walk.
Initial investigation revealed that about 5:50 am the motionless body of Wingrove Morrison Jones, 70 years old of Fountain Estate, a self-employed Farmer/Butcher was discovered by a jogger.
The district Medical Doctor visited the scene and pronounced Wingrove Morrison Jones dead. An autopsy will be carried out on the body to determine the exact cause of death.
