BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, May 2026 — Students at Maude Crosse Preparatory School recently participated in an exciting and educational Fire Safety Week designed to promote awareness, preparedness, and safety practices among children.
The week’s activities were facilitated by dedicated officers from the St. Kitts and Nevis Fire and Rescue Service, who provided students with valuable lessons on fire prevention and emergency response.
Students were allowed to explore a fire truck up close, observe hands-on demonstrations, and learn important fire safety techniques in an engaging and interactive environment.
School officials expressed appreciation to the Fire Service team for their commitment to educating young people and making the experience both informative and memorable for the students.
“A big thank-you to the Fire Service team for making safety fun, interactive, and unforgettable for our children,” the school stated.
