Monday October 17th has been designated as a day for the hosting of a memorial service in honour of the late Philo Wallace, a former youth cricketer on Nevis.
The day significantly is the anniversary of his untimely death, which occurred two years ago, when he was unfortunately shot at a local bar, in Charlestown.
The organizers have indicated that the service will be held at the Charlestown Methodist church, starting at 6 pm.
The general public is being urged to attend the service, as prayers will be said and statements made towards stemming the upsurge of violent crimes on the island.
