It was a very significant and meaningful gesture, as Ms. Meredith Amory took time out to face the media on Tuesday 1st November, to express her profound gratitude to all of the individuals and institutions who assisted in making the second annual fun and sports day, for the older persons, such a tremendous success.
The event which was held on Thursday 27th October at the ET Willet Park, was jointly coordinated by the Social Services Seniors’ division; The Nevis Red cross and The Mental Health Unit, of which Ms. Amory is a part.
She thanked all who had assisted in making the day such a meaningful one for the seniors and urged others to get on board, as the event is expected to be even bigger and better next year.
