BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, JUNE 18TH 2014 (CUOPM) – Anthony Mills has been re-elected President of the St. Kitts-Nevis Association of Persons with Disabilities (SKNAPD).
Mr. Mills was returned as President at the Annual General Meeting at the McKnight Community Centre.
The new Executive was elected to govern the annual affair of the association for the next two years.
Other officers are Vice President, Mr. Joseph Bergan; Secretary, Mrs. Mary Nurse Clarke; Assistant Secretary, Ms. Travia Douglas; Treasurer, Ms. Velma Hanley and Assistant Treasurer, Mr. Shawn Caines.
Committee Members are Mrs. Sharon Dasent and Ms. Patricia Bass. Public Relations Officer is Mr. Selwyn (Rusty) B. Liburd.
The guest speaker for the event was Mr. Terry Morris who gave an inspiring and motivating presentation that left the membership energized and promising to do more to improve the lives of the differently abled in the society.
