Minister Liburd was delighted to be at the Oualie Water Taxi Facility last evening to welcome home seven of our talented young Nevisian cricketers who recently returned from Antigua after participating in the Leeward Islands Under-15 Camp.
I am especially proud that all seven players earned selection to the team and went on to perform admirably in the matches that followed. Their achievements speak volumes about the talent, discipline, and commitment of our young athletes.
The players were accompanied by former West Indies cricketer and coach Stuart Williams, whose guidance and experience would have been invaluable throughout the camp.
Special recognition goes to:
• Aedan Williams – Most Wickets & MVP (Final Game)
• Deshawn James – Most Catches
• Karese Farrell – Best Wicket Keeper
Also representing Nevis with pride were Nicholas Hero, De’morae Prentice, Kamari France, and Ryan Marchan.
Congratulations to all of you on your outstanding achievements. You have represented Nevis with distinction, and we look forward to seeing even greater accomplishments from you in the future.
