Basseterre, St. Kitts: On Friday, April 10, the Minister of Education, Hon. Dr Geoffrey Hanley, hosted a special brunch in honour of public school principals and deputy principals at The Lagos, Half Moon Bay.
The brunch celebrated the unwavering commitment and dedication of school leaders to the education sector in St. Kitts. Minister Hanley expressed his sincere appreciation for their tireless efforts in shaping the minds and futures of students across the island.
As part of the celebration, each attendee received a token of appreciation in the form of a specially prepared gift package, along with a laptop to support their ongoing administrative and instructional responsibilities.
Special recognition was also given to two outstanding educators for their years of service. Mr Dale Phipps was honoured as the longest-serving male principal, while Ms Suzette Cannonier was recognised as the longest-serving female principal.
The brunch reinforced the Ministry’s commitment to recognizing and supporting the invaluable work of educators throughout St. Kitts.
