At a recent meeting with Minister of Sports in the Nevis Island Administration, Hon. Eric Evelyn, a delegation of Cricket officials, presented the new Minister, with a kit from the Leewards Hurricanes franchise.
The delegation included President of the Leeward Islands Cricket Board (LICA), Enoch Lewis; President of the Nevis Cricket Association (NCA), Denrick Liburd and Cricket Operations officer for the Leeward Islands Cricket board, Vernon Springer.
In presenting the kit, Liburd advised the Minister to continue to show his solidarity with the Hurricanes franchise and to wear the shirt proudly.
Minister Evelyn for his part, thanked the delegation for the kind gesture and wished the Hurricanes franchise well.
He also indicated that he is looking forward to the meeting with the delegation, bearing much fruit.
