‘Miss Black San’ contestants to model local designs at Sunshine’s Beach Bar and Lounge this Sunday

(CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS)- The reigning Ms. Culture Swimwear, Cherissa Maynard is welcoming five (5) Kittitian beauties over to Nevis on Sunday, March 30, 2014 for Frisky’s 3rd annual Beach Fashion Fiesta and the launch of the LIME Miss Black San Swimsuit Pageant.

The six (6) contestants competing for the title of ‘Miss Black San 2014’ will be showcasing local fashion designs from some top local designers in the Federation at Sunshine’s Beach Bar and Lounge at Pinney’s Beach.

The gems will be modeling outfits from Cavel Mills with Ziki’s Designs, Vaughn Anslyn and his design V Wear, Rifka Harding with Rif Raf Designs, Yejide and her NjamBi Designs, Chantel Brennan- Martin with Piece of Peace Unique Nevis Jewelry and the mastermind behind this event, Petal Newton with her designs Frisky Fashion.

All designer pieces will be on sale at the end of the show. The action kicks off at 4:30 p.m. sharp.

Owner and designer of Frisky’s Fashion Design and Model Inc., Ms. Petal Newton is inviting everyone to the Pinney’s Beach on Sunday to witness the six curvaceous ladies hit the stage just before their big ‘faceoff’ in April.

Treasa Wyatt, coordinator of the pageant informed this media house that the ladies are working, training and practicing hard for the big event on April 20, 2014.

The reigning Ms Culture Swimwear and the only Nevisian contestant, Cherissa Maynard is optimistic that she could outweigh her competitors and make the entirety of the island proud by capturing the crown.

The other contestants are Unoma Allen, Nakilha Watson, Desiree Herbert, Royisha Demming and Nicola Clarke.

The Miss Black San title is currently being held by Miss Patricia Clarke.
