Monique Evelyn graduates with B.S. degree in Psychology from Bethune-Cookman University

(CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS)- Monique Evelyn of New Castle Village, Nevis was among the 535 graduates who graduated from the Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida on Saturday, May 11, 2013. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree, (B.S.) in Psychology with the honors (Cum Laude).

This proud moment in Monique’s life was shared with her friends and family.

She recently participated in the Presidential Academic Showcase and was a success in presenting her Bachelor’s thesis focusing on ‘The Relationship between Friendship Quality and Happiness.

Monique’s journey began when she attended the Combermere Primary School now known as the Violet O.J. Nicholls (VOJN) Primary School. After successfully completing her primary school education, she attended the Charlestown Secondary School where she continued to excel in education by acquiring nine (9) ‘O’ Level passes. Monique then went on to the Nevis Sixth Form College where she successfully achieved 5 ‘A’ Level passes.

Monique’s thirst for knowledge led her to the field of Psychology at tertiary level in 2009. As she continues her path to success, her future aspirations include focusing on entering Graduate School in January 2014.

The twenty-one year old will like to thank her parents, family, friends, loved ones and everyone who kept her in their prayers.

Monique is the daughter of Ermine Queeley-Evelyn and Keith Evelyn of Newcastle, Nevis.
