(CHARLESTOWN NEVIS)- Reports reaching this media house indicated, that on the evening of Tuesday, July 12, 2016, a young resident from Camps Village was attacked by an assailant after an altercation and was chopped with a machete.
It is alleged, that the occurrence transpired in the vicinity of a gas station in the area. Further reports suggested, that the assailant left the scene after committing the act.
It was further alleged, that the victim was taken to the Alexandra Hospital by the ambulance and is currently in stable condition.
Police are presently investigating the matter.
