Basseterre, St. Kitts — The Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States Robotics Association (OECSRA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Emmanuel Jeffers as the official Events Director for OECSRA.
Mr. Jeffers brings a wealth of experience and leadership to this role, having worked extensively with FIRST Robotics and the FIRST Tech Challenge for several years. His deep knowledge of international robotics competitions, event logistics, and team coordination will be instrumental in shaping the future of competitive robotics in the Eastern Caribbean.
As Events Director, Mr. Jeffers will take the lead in planning, organising, and executing the annual OECS Super Regional Robotics Challenge, including the highly anticipated 2026 edition scheduled for March. His appointment marks a strategic step toward professionalising and scaling OECSRA events to meet international standards, while fostering regional pride, collaboration, and innovation.
