Ms. Culture SwimWear: Contestant #4 Raven Richards
Raven is a vivacious and energetic young woman, who enjoys reading, writing poems, and working with young kids teaching and molding them so that they can become productive citizens of our society.
As far back as she can remember, Raven always knew she was destined to grace the stage with class, style and pageantry. She dreamt of following in the footsteps of her mother, who held the 1987 Miss Culturama Queen crown. Raven first started out modelling for S Model Management and was known as one of the active models for the Red Devils J’ouvert troupe. She later changed modelling agencies and joined Winnielle Modelling Management where she did a course to further improve her modelling skills. She has since been enjoying every bit of exposure on the center stage and has recently decided to try a different aspect of modelling, pageantry.
Thus far, Miss. Richards has had the honour to work with some of St. Kitts and Nevis best photographers, make-up artists and fashion designers such as Winnielle who has helped her tremendously along her journey, Miss. Petal Newton of Frisky Fashion Designs and Garth Archibald a great photographer and mentor.
Raven most recent addition to her growth and development is fitness. She has come to realize that in order to be the best she must not only sharpen her modelling skills. Fitness in mind and body also plays important role in her achieving her goals.
Raven gives thanks for her development to her loving parents especially her mom who has always inspired and challenged her to be the best she can be. Raven wishes to express her gratitude for their unending love and support. It is therefore safe to say she has taken these lessons seriously so far in her journey and plans to continue doing so throughout life.
