Ms Claxton served as custodian of the Bank from 1985 to 2006, a role she embraced with tremendous dedication, pride, and commitment.
Her contributions began before the Bank even opened its doors. During construction, while others built the physical structure, Ms Claxton worked tirelessly behind the scenes—cleaning, removing debris, and preparing the premises to welcome its very first customers.
Known for arriving early each morning, she ensured the Bank was always clean, orderly, and inviting. Day after day, she performed her duties with quiet diligence. Though her work was rarely in the spotlight, it was essential to the foundation of our institution.
Today, we salute 87-year-old Ms Naomi Claxton for her tireless service, commitment, and dedication to The Bank of Nevis Limited.
