Basseterre, St. Kitts — The Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States Robotics Association (OECSRA) is proud to announce the official appointment of Ms. Rijziena Hooker as the OECSRA Representative for Sint Eustatius.
Ms. Hooker joins the OECSRA leadership at a time of tremendous growth and innovation across the region. With her background in education, community engagement, and youth development, she brings a wealth of experience and an unwavering commitment to empowering the next generation through robotics and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education.
In her new role, Ms. Hooker will lead the charge in developing and expanding local robotics initiatives on the island, fostering collaboration with schools, educators, and government partners. Her responsibilities will also include coordinating participation in regional programmes, including the highly anticipated OECS Super Regional Robotics Challenge 2026.
