MV Apple Syder Donates To Young Footballers

The intriguing Football contest, dubbed THE CLASH OF THE SHOPS, being hosted by the Bath United Football club, continued at the Bath Village Playing field, on Sunday 30th August.

On the completion of the first game of the day, the longstanding Coach of the club, Alex Claxton, ably assisted by Jasmine Charles and Melicia Clarke, presented the male and female under fifteen members of the club, with school supplies.

He indicated that the donations were made by the representatives of the MV APPLE SYDER, one of the trusted ferries plying its trade between St. Kitts and Nevis.

Each of the youthful players, received exercise books, pens, pencils, and a bag pack.  They were all beaming at the end of the presentation and were obviously overjoyed to receive the well-needed gifts.

Claxton thanked the operators of the boat and noted that they support the club well in its endeavors and used the opportunity to urge his hearers to utilize the boat’s service whenever they were travelling to and from St. Kitts.
