To every single person, business, and friend who has recently shared our work, reached out, or asked how you can help, I want to say thank you. I appreciate you more than I could ever express, and I am deeply in love with our community and what we are building together, not just here in Nevis, but across the region and our global diaspora.

Since so many of you have been asking questions about Island Girls Rock, I wanted to share a quick update on who we are, where we are, and how you can get involved:
✨ 11 Years of Growth
We actually started 11 years ago in London, where I was living at the time, and we still have an amazing core team based there who have been with us since day one. Of course, we also have our wonderful core team here in Nevis where we are officially incorporated as a non-profit (social enterprise).
✨ Year-Round Community
We are a year-round, intergenerational community operating across six core pillars, and every single dollar we raise goes directly toward funding our year-long programming, gatherings and workshops.
✨ Finding Our Physical Roots
It has been a busy year of grant applications because we are currently working hard to solidify a dedicated, physical space in Nevis. We want a safe, beautiful permanent home for our gatherings and programming so we can offer even more to our community.
✨ What’s Happening Now & Next
Our summer creative series is still going strong through August here in Nevis! Meanwhile, we are also busy curating our autumn online programming so more of our regional and diaspora members can join in our gatherings and offerings.
