Nagico Treats Nevisians to Cricket Match in St.Kitts

NAGICO, the long standing sponsors of the ongoing super 50 cricket series being hosted by the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB), on Sunday treated Nevisians and residents on the island to a rare cricket treat.
The Insurance company through its local manager, Mr. Lauren Barry, made arrangements and hired the MV Caribe Queen to transport cricket lovers to St.Kitts to witness a match in the super 50n series, absolutely free of cost.

According to Barry, some 150 tickets were distributed to interested persons and 115 persons showed up for the free trip.
The happy cricket lovers were also allowed into Warner Park free of cost and received a wide variety of paraphernalia complements of the company. These included horns; cups; shades; balloons and boundary signs.

The boat returned to Nevis with the happy troopers, half an hour after the completion of the match between the Guyana Jaguars and the CCC Marooners.
They were in for an exciting match with the Marooners posting a challenging 254 in their 50 overs and the Jaguars only managed to chase it down in the final over, with only three balls remaining.
