(CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS)- Criminal Assizes in the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court, High Court of Justice on Nevis is scheduled to commence on Monday, December 2, 2013 before his Lordship Justice Albert Redhead.
Five (5) matters are slated to be heard for this assizes. These matters involve two (2) charges of robbery, three (3) counts of rape and unlawful carnal knowledge, one (1) of buggery, one (1) fraudulent conversion and one (1) money laundering.
This court sitting will see two new matters along with three traversed matters. The new matters are those of Ozandy Collins and Sylvester Merchant; while the traversed matters involve Geoffrey Romany, Kimron Lawrence, Orlando Hylton and Alistair Issac.
Romany and Isaac are currently incarcerated while Lawrence and Hilton are out on bail.
