Nevis has new Netball Chief

The Nevis Netball Association has a new President. Following the recent retirement of Ms Jeannette Grell Hull, the Nevis Netball Association on Thursday 31st January ratified then Vice President and Ag President, Ms Vera Herbert, as President of the august body. It was a unanimous decision.

It is not an election year and therefore the executive remains the same, except for the new President. No Vice President has been elected for the time being.

The executive reads:

President: Vera Herbert

Secretary: Tricia Williams

Treasurer: Sasha Liburd

Asst. Secretary-Treasurer: Hazel Manners-David

Floor members: Latoya Bussue, Lydia Claxton and Jasmine Charles

New President, Ms Vera Herbert indicated that her Association is currently finalizing plans for the annual local tournament and is urging all teams to register early. The registration fee is $100.00 and three teams have already indicated their interest in participating. The tournament is scheduled to shoot off on the evening of Saturday March 2nd.

She also mentioned that there will be several other big events for the year but more details will be forthcoming in the near future.
