The Nevis International Secondary school, the lone private secondary school on Nevis, held its cross country events on Friday 16th February.
The races were run in the following categories: Junior boys; junior girls; senior boys and senior girls.
The athletes all started at the school and raced through sections of Brown Pasture and Morning Star, before returning to the school.
The results were not immediately available but it was obvious from the loud cheers of encouragement, that the students had lots of fun.
The school will host its annual sports meet on Friday 9th March.
