CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS – A sensational all-round performance from Ranveer Singh propelled the Nevis Primary Schools’ All-Stars to a commanding eight-wicket victory over their St. Kitts counterparts on Wednesday, July 29, at the ET Willett Park.
After winning the toss and electing to bat, the St. Kitts team saw promising starts from their top order cut short. A disciplined bowling attack, spearheaded by Singh’s lethal medium pace and Ajani Saddler’s tight off-spin, systematically dismantled the visitors’ batting lineup to restrict St. Kitts to 87 all out in 17.2 overs.
Nevis made light work of the 88-run target, surging to victory in just 8.3 overs. Singh capped off an outstanding day with an unbeaten 28, while Captain Zakeem Bailey anchored the rapid chase with 25 runs.
