(CHARLESTOWN NEVIS)- The island of Nevis is today, mourning the death of Alec Brown of Hanley’s Road, Gingerland, who was tragically killed in a traffic accident on Sunday May 4, 2014.
It is reported, that sometime after 7:00 pm. last night, the vehicle in which he was travelling, collided into a wall on the island main road just below S.L Horsfords.
Further reports indicate that the vehicle separated into three (3) parts on impact. Alec, who was the driver, is said to have landed in the nearby drain that is in close proximity to the wall.
He was later transported to the Alexandra Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. A female passenger is also said to be hospitalized from injuries sustained in the accident.
Police is currently investigating the matter.
