Nevis Represented at CTO Week in New York City

Charlestown, Nevis, June 7, 2019 – The Nevis Tourism Authority took part in the annual CTO (Caribbean Tourism Organization) Week in New York City this week, with NTA CEO Greg Phillip in attendance, along with members of the North American PR agency.

New York City comes alive for a full week when tourism officials, industry executives, the media, the Caribbean Diaspora, travel agents, consumers and students converge on the city to participate in a calendar of activities that showcase the best of Caribbean tourism. Nevis is one of 24 CTO-member countries who gathered for a series of meetings and events that addressed the common issues and marketing programs designed to attract tourists to the region. As well, it presented an opportunity for the NTA to meet directly with journalists and influencers at the CTO Media Marketplace to present story ideas and highlight all that Nevis has to offer to travelers including the upcoming Nevis Mango & Food Festival.

“Opportunities like the CTO Week in NYC allow us to engage with our regional ‘partners’ and to nurture relationships and gain information that can help us to better market Nevis as a unique Caribbean destination,” Phillip said.
