Nevis Tourism Authority Partners with St. Kitts Tourism Authority in Bermuda to Launch “We Limin” Campaign

NEVIS, West Indies — On Wednesday, 25 February, the Nevis Tourism Authority (NTA), in collaboration with the St. Kitts Tourism Authority (SKTA) and key national stakeholders, successfully undertook an official mission to Bermuda. The mission aimed to strengthen diaspora engagement, deepen regional partnerships and drive incremental summer travel to St. Kitts and Nevis.

The delegation included Phéon Jones, Director of Sales and Marketing of the Nevis Tourism Authority and Melnecia Marshall, Deputy CEO of the St. Kitts Tourism Authority, who led engagements with diaspora stakeholders, tourism partners and aviation representatives throughout the visit. This strategic engagement underscores the Authorities’ commitment to inclusive tourism growth and meaningful international collaboration.

Mission Focus
The Bermuda mission centred on three primary objectives:

Strengthening diaspora connections
Enhancing regional connectivity
Driving event-led travel growth

A key highlight of the mission was the official introduction of the “We Limin” Diaspora Campaign in Bermuda. The campaign is designed to reconnect members of the diaspora with St. Kitts and Nevis as both homeland and destination, encouraging purposeful travel centered around culture, heritage, and national celebrations. It also positions diaspora members as ambassadors who can champion the destination within their communities.

The delegation showcased the Federation’s dynamic summer calendar, including:

St. Kitts Music Festival
Nevis Mango Festival
Nevis Culturama Festival
St. Kitts–Nevis Restaurant Week
Collectively, these signature events provide compelling travel motivations across music, cuisine, culture and heritage, appealing to both diaspora and leisure travelers.

Productive discussions were also held with BermudAir to explore the viability of dedicated summer charter airlift aligned with major festivals. Conversations focused on gauging market demand, pricing sensitivities and booking intent, generating valuable insights to inform next steps toward improving regional access and facilitating seamless, event-driven travel.

Additionally, Kressell Daniel, Deputy Consul General of the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis, supported the execution of consular outreach clinics that provided passport services, citizenship guidance, civil registration support, and general assistance. These clinics strengthened engagement with nationals residing in Bermuda while complementing ongoing consular efforts.

Key Outcomes
The mission resulted in:

The successful introduction of the We Limin Diaspora Campaign in Bermuda
Increased awareness of St. Kitts and Nevis’ summer events and experiences
Strengthened relationships with diaspora leaders and aviation stakeholders
Valuable market intelligence to guide future travel facilitation initiatives
Momentum toward increased diaspora visitation

By combining cultural promotion with practical travel solutions, the Bermuda mission transformed connection into action laying the groundwork for increased visitation, expanded economic impact and sustained loyalty to St. Kitts and Nevis.
