Charlestown, Nevis – The Nevis Tourism Authority (NTA) convened a strategic stakeholder meeting on Friday, March 13, with key representatives from its United Kingdom market to strengthen collaboration. The meeting focused on aligning efforts with the destination’s Integrated Marketing Plan (IMP) 2026 and reinforcing a unified approach to promoting Nevis in the UK market.

The meeting was led by Chief Executive Officer Andia Ravariere, with support from UK Sales Manager Julie Claxton. It brought together the destination’s UK sales representatives, Clear Marketing, public relations partner Francis Communications, and representatives from Nevis’ leading hotels operating within the UK market.
The two-hour session focused on strategic coordination, execution of upcoming initiatives, and identifying opportunities to further elevate Nevis’ presence within one of its most important long-haul markets.
Importantly, the meeting came on the heels of a series of high-level trade and media engagements in the United Kingdom, including the Nevis Tourism Authority’s participation in Unite Caribbean, the CEO’s two-day participation in IMM UK and attendance of British Airways’ inaugural partner engagement event held on Thursday, March 12. These engagements provided valuable opportunities to connect with travel advisors, tour operators, airline partners and international media, further strengthening Nevis’ relationships within the UK travel ecosystem.
Building on the momentum generated from these engagements, the strategic meeting served as a platform to align partners on the next phase of destination promotion and market activity.
Discussions centered on implementing priority initiatives outlined in the Integrated Marketing Plan. Particular attention was given to strengthening market visibility, deepening relationships with the travel trade and international media, and expanding collaborative partnerships with key tourism stakeholders.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to examine emerging initiatives and new opportunities aligned with Nevis’ evolving brand positioning and long-term tourism growth strategy. The meeting allowed for exploring ways to leverage these opportunities through coordinated marketing, targeted storytelling and strengthened partnerships with both international representatives and local stakeholders.
Andia Ravariere, Chief Executive Officer of the Nevis Tourism Authority, highlighted the importance and timing of the engagement.
“This meeting was both timely and strategic. Coming directly after a week of strong engagement with our UK trade and media, it allowed us to consolidate the momentum generated during the visit and ensure that our partners remain fully aligned with Nevis’ strategic marketing priorities. The level of interest, collaboration, and enthusiasm we experienced throughout the week clearly signals that the UK market remains highly receptive to Nevis’ unique boutique luxury offering.”
Ravariere further noted that the visit to the United Kingdom represented a significant milestone in the destination’s renewed focus on the market.
“Our engagements across Unite Caribbean, IMM UK, and the British Airways partner event proved exceptionally valuable. The response from travel advisors, journalists, and industry partners was overwhelmingly positive, and we leave the UK confident that the relationships strengthened and opportunities identified will translate into meaningful results for Nevis. By every measure, this visit has been a major success for the destination.”
The meeting concluded with strong consensus among attendees that the discussions were highly productive, reinforcing a unified approach toward executing upcoming marketing initiatives and positioning Nevis for continued growth in the UK market.
Through continued collaboration with international representatives, industry partners, and local stakeholders, the Nevis Tourism Authority remains focused on advancing a forward-thinking tourism strategy that promotes sustainable growth, strong partnerships, and increased global visibility for the island.
