The Nevis under 15 team, continued their winning ways over their under 17 counterparts on Monday 1st May.
The third match in the three match series, was played at the ET Willet Park, observed closely by Elquemedo Willet, who was incidentally celebrating his 64th birthday.
The under 15 team had won the previous two matches and the under 17’s would have been hoping to salvage some pride in the encounter.
The under 17’s batted first and scored 118 all out in 27 overs. Malik Semper scored 26; Sharma 20; Seegolam 12.
Justin Amerdan got 3 wickets for 7 runs with Carlon Tuckett, Peter Charles and Gyan Griffin, all getting 1 wicket each.
The under 15’s in reply got to 119 for 7 from 24 overs. Tajarie Clarke 25; Justin Amerdan 20; Jaden Carmichael 18.
For the under 17 team, Trishawn Francis was their best bowler with 3 for 25; Lionel Mills 2 for 20 and Tiwan Prentice 1 for 20.
The under 15’s won the match by 3 wickets and sealed the series, 3 games to nil.
