Nevis Welcomes Cast and Crew of Apples & Airplanes at Historic Fort Charles

CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS — The historic Fort Charles heritage site came alive this week as filming continued for the upcoming feature film Apples & Airplanes. Nevis Film Commissioner and Nevis Tourism Authority Board Chair Pamela Martin visited the set, where she joined members of the cast and crew, including writer, producer, and lead actress Sarafina King.

The production has created notable opportunities for local talent, with several Nevisians securing speaking roles. Among them are Patrick Howell and Clayton Huggins, proudly representing the island on an international film project.

Deputy Premier Hon. Eric Evelyn also visited the set, bringing greetings on behalf of the Nevis Island Administration and the people of Nevis. Cast and crew expressed their appreciation for the warm hospitality extended by the island. Lead actor Jake Lockett highlighted how much he has been enjoying Nevis’ natural beauty, while Sarafina King praised the graciousness and kindness of the local community.

The Apples & Airplanes production is scheduled to wrap next week and marks Nevis’ final full-length feature film for 2025—closing out a landmark year for the island’s growing film industry.
