Nisbet Plantation Beach Club, Nevis, Appoints Veteran Caribbean Hospitality Executive Alistair Forrest to General Manager

NEVIS, West Indies — Nisbet Plantation Beach Club, the Caribbean’s only historic plantation inn on the beach, has appointed Alistair W.L. Forrest to General Manager. Forrest will oversee the daily operations, service excellence, staff training, sales and marketing efforts of the award-winning 36-room Nevis resort.

Forrest brings to the position more than 35 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with 26 years as General Manager and more than 20 years in the Caribbean. Most recently, Forrest was the General Manager at Cobblers Cove in Barbados, a five-star Relais & Châteaux boutique resort.

Prior Caribbean experience includes managing several properties in Antigua, including Blue Waters, Royal Antiguan Resort and St. James Club, as well as serving as the opening General Manager for Carlisle Bay. Forrest, who is a Member of the Institute of Hospitality (MIH), has also managed hotels and resorts in his native Scotland, the Seychelles, Vietnam, Maldives and the UK.
