No Registration Fee Required For Fun Day

Michael WISE Herbert, the chief coordinator of the Hard times fun day upcoming, has indicated that there will be no longer any required registration fee for competing teams.
He noted that the fun day, which will be held at the Hard times Play field this coming Sundauy-20th January, will be a day for the entire family and he was able to garner overwhelming sponsorship for the event and so his organizing committee has decided that even though teams have to register, a registration fee for competing teams, was not necessary.
He further elaborated as he took time out to thank the various sponsors:
Dominoes-Trophy sponsored by Wise himself and monetary award sponsored by Bijon Hanley
Cricket-sponsored by the Hon. Eric Evelyn-monetary award
Tug of war and beer drinking competition-Sponsored by One Cocoa services
Draft contest-sponsored by Best Buy—food vouchers
There will also be a bun eating competitions and a bouncing castle for the children, with music provided by the popular DJ BULF and that is sponsored by the Community Development Department.
Other prizes will included lunches from Rodney’s cuisine; Mem’s Pizzeria and Lavern’s diner.
Running commentary will be provided by the one and only Micah and WISE is encouraging entire families to come out and enjoy the day.
Participating teams must book their names before 1 pm on the day and persons can only play for one team.
WISE further indicated that the fun day will serve as a precursor for the start of the VPL Cricket league, which will bowl off at the same venue in three weeks’ time.
