BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS — St. Kitts’ cruise tourism continued its strong showing on Wednesday as three vessels docked at Port Zante, bringing more than 11,000 passengers to the island in a single day.
A total of 11,185 cruise passengers arrived aboard the Allure of the Seas, Celebrity Apex, and Marella Explorer 2. A familiar presence at Port Zante, the Allure of the Seas arrived from St. Thomas carrying 6,435 passengers. The Celebrity Apex, which sailed in from Puerto Rico, brought 2,858 passengers, while the Marella Explorer 2 arrived with 1,892 passengers onboard.
The majority of the passengers disembarked to explore the island, pushing the total number of cruise visitors for the week to date to 33,216.
Cruise activity is expected to remain high, with three more vessels scheduled to berth at Port Zante on Thursday, January 22. The *Celebrity Beyond*, *Odyssey of the Seas*, and *Silver Ray* are all slated to arrive, further boosting visitor numbers and economic activity across St. Kitts.
The continued influx of cruise passengers underscores the island’s appeal as a premier destination in the Caribbean cruise circuit and highlights the ongoing contribution of cruise tourism to the local economy.
