The battle lines are well and truly drawn. The Nevis Football Association, put a brief pause on the regular season, to host the Legends’ cup.
On the evening of Thursday 8th February, the semifinal games were played.
In match one, Youths of the Future bossed around Hard Times, to a final score line of 5 goals to 1 and in the second encounter, Pioneers went the full distance with SL Horsfords Highlights and at the end of regulation time, the score was nil-all.
However, in the extra time provided, Pioneers sneaked home 1 to seal a place in the finals.
The stage is therefore set for a super encounter, this coming Sunday evening, as Pioneers and the Youths will vie for the coveted cup.
In the preliminary round of matches, Pioneers defeated Bath United 3 goals to nil and S L Horsfords Highlights defeated Villa United, 4 goals to nil.
