PM Douglas is guest on Choice FM’s Breakfast Menu on Thursday, hosted on Radio St. Kitts-Nevis Wednesday

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, AUGUST 29TH 2013 – Issues ranging from the Sugar Industry Diversification Foundation (SIDF) and the Motion of No Confidence to Crime and the resignation and firing of two senior Cabinet ministers from the Government were discussed Wednesday during a 90-minute appearance by Prime Minister the Rt. Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas on Radio St. Kitts-Nevis 90.7 FM.

Dr. Douglas was the special guest on “What’s Happening St. Kitts and Nevis” with host Ms. Carla (Carla T) Astaphan, who extended the invitation to the St. Kitts and Nevis leader.

“It was the Prime Minister’s first appearance on the months-old radio station, the newest among several, whose licences were approved and granted by the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party Administration,” said Press Secretary to the Prime Minister, Mr. Erasmus Williams.

“I am satisfied that the several questions from the host and several callers assisted in providing information and clarification to the wide audience including those in the United States Virgin Islands and the British Virgin Islands, at home and further afield,” said Mr. Williams.

He disclosed that Prime Minister Douglas will be the Guest on a Special Edition of Choice FM (105.5FM) Breakfast Menu on Thursday29th August at 7:30 am.

“The Prime Minister has accepted the invitation of Chef Waltie (Mr. Walter Morton) and will be on the morning programme this Thursday,” said Williams

He also disclosed that the St. Kitts and Nevis leader will be the guest on Freedom FM’s Good Morning St. Kitts and Nevis with veteran Dominica broadcaster and journalist, Mr. Lennox Linton this coming Friday 30th August 2013.

“Prime Minister Douglas will be on the programme ‘Good Morning St. Kitts and Nevis’ which begins at 7:30 on 106.5 FM,” said Williams.

During this week, Prime Minister Douglas, also hosted his weekly radio call-in programme “Ask the Prime Minister” on Tuesday 27th August 2013 and held his monthly Press Conference on Wednesday 28th August.
