GEORGETOWN, GUYANA – Prime Minister Hon. Dr Terrance M. Drew visited several institutions and held discussions with officials during his visit to Georgetown.

A government statement said that Dr Drew had a full day on Wednesday of strategic site visits and high-level engagements focused on innovation, public service efficiency, national security, agriculture, and healthcare.

During the visit, the Prime Minister toured E-Net’s automated speeding enforcement system and received a presentation on Guyana’s public service digitisation programme led by Hon. He also visited the Guyana Police Force Command Centre and toured the National Agricultural Research and Extension Institute, including its Mangrove Centre, Soil Chemical Services Unit, and Biotechnology Tissue Culture Laboratory. A visit was also made to the Diamond Regional Hospital.

“The engagements provided valuable opportunities for knowledge sharing and further strengthened collaboration between St. Kitts and Nevis and Guyana in key areas that support national development and improve quality of life,” the statement said.
