Police Appeals for Public Assistance in Investigating Death of Travis Hanley

Basseterre, St. Kitts, December, 07, 2015 (RSCNPF): The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force is appealing to persons who were in the company of Travis ‘Ganstafat” Hanley on Saturday morning to come forward and provide information that can assist in the investigation of his death.

Hanley was involved in an incident which occurred about 4.15am on Saturday (December 5) on the Frigate Bay “Strip” during which he received a stab wound to his left leg. He was taken to the J. N. France General Hospital where he later died as a result of the injury he sustained.

A female has been detained in relation to the incident and is assisting the police with the investigation.

Assistant Commissioner of Police with responsibility for Criminal Investigations, Mr Ian Queeley said, “We know Hanley was with a group of people at this time and in this vicinity. We need these people to come forward as they may have information that is essential to the investigation.”

ACP Queeley added, “We want to hear from you. By providing information, citizens can make a significant difference and can help us to move recent cases such as these forward as well as some of our historical cases.
