(CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS)- The Traffic Department in Nevis is currently investigating a traffic accident that occurred on Saturday, October 4, 2014. The unfortunate incident has left a male in critical condition.
News reaching this media house indicates that Adrian Joseph, a former Mr. Kool contestant, was run over by a motor vehicle in the junction that leads to Ramsbury Site and Stoney Grove, on Government Road just below the Alexandra Hospital.
Information surrounding this incident is still sketchy, but it is alleged that the Brown Hill resident was on his way home when the incident occurred. It is said that he was coming from Enrique’s Night Club and may have been intoxicated.
Police have confirmed that the occurrence is not a hit and run, but the youngster was indeed run over by a vehicle.
Adrian was found lying on the road sometime after 4:00 a.m. by a passerby who immediately summoned help.
No one has been apprehended for this matter. Nevispages has learnt that police officers are unable to make an arrest since no one has reported witnessing the incident and no surveillance cameras are in the vicinity of the site of the accident.
Meanwhile, Adrian remains a patient at the JNF Hospital with serious injuries to his hip.
