Police Investigates Fatal Shooting Incident in Cayon

(BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS)-The Violent Crime Unit (VCU) on St. Kitts is investigating a fatal shooting incident which occurred at Water Works, Cayon at about 1:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 19, 2015 which resulted in one (1) person fatally wounded.

Initial investigation revealed that 42 year old Jeffrey Daniel of Water Works, Cayon was attacked by two (2) unknown armed assailants at his residence, and he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Anyone who has information pertaining to this incident is asked to call the VCU at 467-1887, 467-1886, the nearest police, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477 (TIPS). Remember, you do not have to provide your personal information and you maybe eligible to receive a reward.

An autopsy will be performed on the body of the late deceased at a later date to determine the exact cause of death.
